AANN Webinar: Certification of the Neuroscience Nurse: Process, Benefits & Impact

Join us on March 9, 2021 from 12-1pm CT for this live webinar presented by Marianne Beare Vyas, PhD RN ANP-BC. The American Board of Neuroscience Nursing (ABNN) is an independent, not-for-profit corporation established under the AANN to design, implement, and evaluate neuroscience certifications for professional nurses within the field. This webinar will describe the benefits to nurses, patients, and administrators of having every neuroscience patient cared for by a certified nurse. We will describe the CNRN and SCRN certifications, the process for application, testing and obtaining certification. This webinar will also describe how tests are created, stay current, and the role of the ABNN. Through this webinar, hospitals and leadership will be able to identify benefits to certification as well as ways to recognize and promote certification at their facility.

Participants can receive 1 CE credit for attending the webinar and completing the evaluation. The recording for this webinar will be available for free after the live webinar.
