Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS) April 2022

The ENLS course is designed to help healthcare professionals improve patient care and outcomes during the critical first hours of a patient’s neurological emergency. Please note this course requires additional steps through the Neurocritical Care Society (NCS) that you will receive closer to the course date.

Participants can earn 8 CE contact hours for attending the webinar and completing evaluation!

Course description

The ENLS course is designed to help healthcare professionals improve patient care and outcomes during the critical first hours of a patient’s neurological emergency. ENLS Version 5.0 recently was released and includes all of the latest medical updates, keeping you in the know on best practices for managing neurological emergencies. Participants of this session will be given a consistent set of protocols, practical checklists, decision points, and suggested communication to use during the patient management of 14 neurological emergencies.

The Neurocritical Care Society (NCS) will be responsible for crediting participants with continuing education hours related only to the ENLS course.

The ENLS course has been designed for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA CME, ACNN, ACPE, and CAPCE credits upon completion. Official documentation of continuing education credit and 2-year ENLS certification is available for download on the ENLS online platform after successful completion of all course exams and a passing score of at least 70%. The official CME provider of NCS is Cine-Med.

The course will be presented live and will NOT be recorded. Handouts will be available the week of the course. Further instructions will be sent closer to the course date. All attendees will receive an ENLS book.
