AANN is seeking volunteers for the Finance Committee.

The Finance Committee will ensure that the board exercises its fiduciary responsibilities.  These responsibilities are achieved through the development and oversight of the financial activities of AANN including such activities as the annual budget, audit, investments, and other related financial policy.

Qualifications

• AANN member in good standing for three years.
• Active involvement within the past year in local and/or national activities of AANN or other professional organization.
• Communicates effectively orally, written, and electronically.
• No budgetary experience required, but budgetary experience and an interest in finance is highly recommended

Time commitment

3-year term appointed by the AANN President-elect. about 2 hours each month with some additional hours needed near year-end in Q3 and Q4 to complete year-end financial duties. Meetings via conference call once per quarter. Participation on all calls is expected.

Please submit a current condensed curriculum vitae that includes only (1) your credentials, current employer and title, and your contact information, (2) the professional organizations in which you hold membership, (3) the number of years you have worked in neuroscience nursing, (4) a bibliography of articles, book chapters, and books you have published in the past 10 years, and (5) the titles and dates of no more than 5 lectures or presentations you have given (if you have given more than 5 presentations, select the top 5 in the field of neuroscience).
