AANN is seeking volunteers for the Annual Meeting Poster Committee. The Annual Meeting Poster Committee, under the direction of the annual meeting co-chairperson, assists with the planning of the AANN annual meeting based on the mission of AANN. Activities of the committee include but are not limited to: solicitation, review, and evaluation of meeting poster abstracts, poster judging while onsite at the meeting, and ongoing evaluation of the overall annual meeting.
Qualifications
- AANN member
- At least 2 years of experience in neuroscience nursing
- The ability to meet deadlines
- Can commit to the time required
Time commitment
2-year term appointed by the AANN President-elect. 5-6 conference calls throughout the year. Committee members review regular poster submissions for the conference during July, and late-breaking submissions in December/January, requiring approximately 25 hours during each review period.

Please submit a current condensed curriculum vitae that includes only (1) your credentials, current employer and title, and your contact information, (2) the professional organizations in which you hold membership, (3) the number of years you have worked in neuroscience nursing, (4) a bibliography of articles, book chapters, and books you have published in the past 10 years, and (5) the titles and dates of no more than 5 lectures or presentations you have given (if you have given more than 5 presentations, select the top 5 in the field of neuroscience).
