Description:

The Education Provider Committee (EPC) ensures compliance in the planning, implementation and evaluation of AANN educational programs according to American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation (ANCC-COA) continuing education credit criteria and the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Current AANN membership
  • Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Education preferred
  • Neuro-related clinical experience (within last five years)
  • Education program development experience
  • Abstract review experience preferred 
  • Good communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and passion for professional neuroscience nursing

Time commitment

2-year term appointed by the AANN President-elect. 4-6 conference calls throughout the year, continuing education application proposal review, email communication, and small group work.

Please submit a current condensed curriculum vitae that includes only (1) your credentials, current employer and title, and your contact information, (2) the professional organizations in which you hold membership, (3) the number of years you have worked in neuroscience nursing, (4) a bibliography of articles, book chapters, and books you have published in the past 10 years, and (5) the titles and dates of no more than 5 lectures or presentations you have given (if you have given more than 5 presentations, select the top 5 in the field of neuroscience).
