AMWF is seeking volunteers for the Grant Review Committee. The Grant Review Committee members are volunteers in good standing, and must hold a minimum of a baccalaureate degree. Interested members submit a competed application as well as a letter of reference. Each grant proposal received is reviewed by at least two committee members.
The responsibilities of the grants review committee are as follows:
- Participates by reviewing assigned grants (Certification, Recertification, Travel)
- Evaluates assigned grant proposals based on proposal guidelines
- Complete application scoring by deadline
- Attend all meetings and conference calls
- Perform other duties as requested
Your decision to run for, or be appointed as, a member of the Grant Review Committee carries with it a serious responsibility. Individuals who serve on the BOD volunteer their personal time and effort into advancing the goals and objectives of AMWF.
Time commitment
Time commitments vary according to time of year and project responsibility. Candidates may assume a time commitment of 5-10 hours per month.

Please submit a current condensed curriculum vitae that includes only (1) your credentials, current employer and title, and your contact information, (2) the professional organizations in which you hold membership, (3) the number of years you have worked in neuroscience nursing, (4) a bibliography of articles, book chapters, and books you have published in the past 10 years, and (5) the titles and dates of no more than 5 lectures or presentations you have given (if you have given more than 5 presentations, select the top 5 in the field of neuroscience).
