AANN Call for Authors and Reviewers Due Thursday, May 26th
AANN Clinical Practice Guideline Series update and revision: Care of the patient with Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and other movement disorders.
AANN is updating and revising the clinical practice guideline (CPG) Care of the patient with Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and other movement disorders. We have an exciting opportunity for subject matter experts to participate as authors and reviewers.
We are looking for co-chairs to serve as project lead (2), content authors (2-3), reviewers (3), and one author without publication experience or advanced degree to mentor through the process. All work will be supported and guided by the AANN CPG Editorial Board Liaison and the CPG Editor.
To fill the co-chairs, author, and reviewer roles we need neuroscience nurses who:
- Are subject matter experts in Myasthenia Gravis and other movement disorders
- Have experience in systematic literature review and are committed to the development of best practices
- Active in practice and care of Myasthenia Gravis and other movement disorder patients
- Can commit to the time required to successfully complete the update
- Authors:
- Approximately one year to 18 months which will include:
- Weekly and/or monthly phone calls depending upon point in the CPG development
- Independent work
- Reviewers: one-three months
