AANN is seeking a volunteer to serve as the Chapters Co-Facilitator. The Chapter Leaders Facilitator and Co-Facilitator represents Chapter Leaders on a national level and guides the chapters in advancing the field of neuroscience nursing. Chapters provide an avenue for AANN members to network within a specific geographical area via professional meetings and educational programming which may take place locally or electronically. This “grassroots” network is the foundation for our national organization to grow membership and promote neuroscience nursing within specific geographical areas.
Qualifications:
- Current AANN member
- Current Chapter member
- Must have previous experience in the role of chapter leadership position
- Available to serve for two consecutive years (1 year – Co-Facilitator, 1 year – Facilitator)
Time commitment
2-year term appointed by the AANN President-elect, first year as Co-Facilitator, second year as Facilitator. Bi-monthly chapter facilitator conference calls, email communication

- A short statement (1-2 paragraphs) of interest that specifies your areas of interest and special expertise as well as the reasons you would like to be considered for the volunteer opportunity.
- A current condensed curriculum vitae that includes only (1) your credentials, current employer and title, and your contact information, (2) the professional organizations in which you hold membership, (3) the number of years you have worked in neuroscience nursing, (4) a list of professional volunteering activities, and (5) a list of publications or presentations from the last 5 years if applicable.
