AANN Call for Authors and Reviewers Due Thursday, June 16th

AANN Clinical Practice Guideline Series update and revision: Nursing Care of the Patient with Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.

AANN is creating a new clinical practice guideline (CPG) Nursing Care of the Patient with Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.  We have an exciting opportunity for subject matter experts to participate as authors and reviewers.

We are looking for a project lead (1), content authors (3-4), reviewers (2), and one author without publication experience or advanced degree to mentor through the process. All work will be supported and guided by the AANN CPG Editorial Board Liaison and the CPG Editor.

To fill the roles, we need neuroscience nurses who:

• Are subject matter experts in Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
• Have experience in systematic literature review and are committed to the development of best practices
• Active in practice and care of Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage patients
• Can commit to the time required to successfully complete the update
• Authors (approximately one year to 18 months which will include):
• Weekly and/or monthly phone calls depending upon point in the CPG development
• Independent work
• Reviewers: one-three months
